My Project
Focus binders foster a structured and student-centered approach to learning math. They can be especially powerful in helping students build the executive functioning and reflective skills they need to succeed in a content-heavy and sequential subject like mathematics. With new SC Ready mathematics standards coming in the new school year, I would love to try a different approach with classwork, instructional material, and signed papers.
Built-in Study Tool: When assessments are returned and stored with corrections and feedback, students have a ready-made review tool before quizzes or exams.
I plan to use the focus binders to help students study and prepare for spiral review test and quizzes.
