This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The return to in person learning this year was a learning experience for me and my students. After a year of learning on line and using their devices for everything, they found it challenging to organize their daily classroom notes, hand outs, returned work and outlines that will help them with their writing.
We are still a state that tests on paper and because our students have been spending so much time in front of screens, the English teachers in 6,7, and 8th are committed to returning to basics while maintaining the technology skills they have acquired over time.
The binders, journals and dividers will be used in all English classes in the 6th, 7th and 8th grade to create good organizational and note taking habits that will stay with our students beyond middle school.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
