This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
We need binders for our learning. My students go above-and-beyond with their learning by staying after school and learning. They are successful in their academics and electives and have added Academic Decathlon to learn more and compete with students at other schools.
The national Academic Decathlon organization compiles study materials of about 1000 pages, and my students need binders to keep this curriculum organized.
We are struggling to keep our old binders together. The rings do not connect anymore, and the spines are falling off. My students are having a difficult time turning the pages of their curriculum, and having new binders would inspire them to study more often.
With your help, they will be able to attend competitions with other schools, carrying their new binders, instead of trying to hold old binders together.
