My Project
I give my students work binders to help them stay organized with their learning resources. In the binders, there are all the heart words from 1st grade to 6th grade and extra blank sheets for them to fill in the new words they learn. They can use these binders to practice writing and reading. Whenever they write in Chinese, they can feel they have enough resources, any words they forgot, they can just search in their binders. The same in reading, whenever they see a word and do not know the sound or meaning, they can search for it in their binders.
In my classroom, the binders not only can help develop their reading and writing skills in the Chinese language but also a tool to help me communicate with parents.
Parents can get to know their students learning progress by going through students' work samples. Parents can also use the resources in the binders to help students practice their reading and writing skills. Please help me continue to have great relationships with parents by communicating with the use of these binders.
