Help me give my students binders to stay organized and part of our school's AVID initiative.
FULLY FUNDED! Ms. Tremper's classroom raised $300
This project is fully funded
My Project
Students at my school are mostly from low to moderately low-income homes, making 98% of students eligible for free lunch. Many times, students don't have money available to purchase the schools supplies they need to succeed during the school year. Our school is implementing AVID - a program that trains teachers to close opportunity gaps and improve college and career readiness for their middle and high school students, especially those traditionally underrepresented in higher education.
The funding of this project will make a huge difference in my students' learning and success this school year.
AVID uses a binder system to model to students how to stay organized. We will be implementing this school wide and need to ensure all students have a binder available to them.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
