In both intro to computer science and AP computer Science Principles, we tackle binary early in the curriculum.
These materials will be a fun way to have a formative assessment on their binary conversions, and also allow students to express their creativity.
After they have completed their binary bracelets they will be able to have conversations around why they chose the colors they did to represent their 0s, 1s, and spaces which will give them insights into their classmates passions and allow them to make connections early on in the school year and our class specifically.
