This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I am a fifth grade teacher who teaches reading, writing, and math. We also spend a lot of our time focusing on developing social skills and organizational skills and on building great character to be successful students and citizens in our community.
I have a great group of students who are extremely motivated to learn.
They are so much fun! We are excited about this school year, and we hope that your donations can help us make our school year even more successful!
My Project
Our classroom was so fortunate to receive a new television this year. We would love to be able to get a Touchjet Wave system which will allow our technology to become more interactive. It can turn a TV into a touchscreen. The Touchjet Wave will be a great addition to our current technology and will help create a more hands-on learning experience for all of my students.
Interactive technology helps classroom lessons and instruction become more fun and engaging.
Students will be able to participate more actively with an interactive television. If we are able to make our current technology more interactive, this will allow for creative collaboration among all of my students.
This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
