My Project
For this project, I am requesting bilingual reading resources, math manipulatives, and additional classroom furniture to better support my students' learning needs. The bilingual reading resources will help students who are still mastering English, ensuring they have access to materials in their native language and enabling them to make connections between languages. The math manipulatives will provide hands-on opportunities for students to grasp mathematical concepts more concretely, which is especially important for those who struggle with abstract ideas. The new furniture will create a more flexible and comfortable learning environment, allowing students to collaborate and engage in different types of activities more effectively.
My goals for this project are to promote literacy development, enhance understanding of math concepts, and create an inclusive, comfortable classroom environment where every student can thrive.
I aim to foster a classroom atmosphere that supports all students, regardless of language barriers or learning challenges, and encourages them to work together and think critically.
What makes my students special is their diverse backgrounds, their resilience in overcoming challenges, and their eagerness to succeed. Many of my students are bilingual, and their unique perspectives enrich the classroom. Providing them with the appropriate resources and tools will help them achieve their academic goals and unlock their full potential.
