Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I have a total of 53 amazing students in my Spanish Dual Immersion classes.
They are always excited by the challenges that learning a foreign language brings to them!
Spanish read-alouds and learning math (in Spanish) is definitely one of their favorite daily activities!
My Project
The tools and manipulatives I'm requesting for my students are essential for the high-level learning that they're looking for and deserve.
These tools will help my English-speaking students have as many opportunities needed to grasp essential mathematical concepts taught to them in a foreign language and they will challenge my ELL students to think outside the box and discover and develop all those engineering skills they may have.
These tools will provide academic support and enrichment to every single one of my 53 students. Also, I think they will enjoy the hands-on learning that each tools in this project will provide for them.
