My Project
Working at a Title 1 school means limited funding. Without you, it would not be possible. My school has a handful of students who can only read in Spanish. I quickly saw that I was lacking book choices for them. I do not want them to miss out on reading options because of a language barrier.
Bilingual books will add enrichment and help foster a positive reading environment for my students. Those who only read in Spanish will be able to participate with their peers and grow to be confident readers.
