This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I have 35 students in fourth grade. The majority of them come from low-income families. Most of them are also bilingual! Many have a home language of Spanish!

These books will help my students that are developing English language skills to read in their home language, as well as encourage bilingual students to maintain their home language!

My students love to read and work toward their reading goals. This variety of books in Spanish will help them get to their goals and practice reading at a high level in their home language as well!
