My Project
Please help supply my bilingual high school students who are reading buddies with Spanish speaking elementary-aged students. My high school students are enrolled in a career exploration program for teens who are interested in becoming teachers. We call this program EPIC-Extraordinary People Influencing Change. We work with young children at the elementary school next door to our campus. Many of my students are bilingual and many of their buddies are just learning to speak English. My high school students would like to bring a book in both English and Spanish to engage their little reading buddies as they work weekly in the elementary classroom to gain experience teaching.
