This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our bilingual first graders are eager to dive into books that reflect both their languages and cultures.

To support their literacy journey, we're requesting a selection of engaging English and Spanish books that will build vocabulary, boost reading confidence, and foster a love for learning.

These books will help our students make meaningful connections between home and school while developing crucial reading skills in both languages. With your support, we can create a rich, inclusive reading environment where every child feels seen, supported, and inspired to grow. Thank you !
