My Project
Grade 8 math is all about functions and looking at real world problems by creating rules and graphs to represent them. We often use manipulatives to model what is happening in the situation, and even teenagers learn and remember more when they can work hands-on.
My students love to work standing up and to see each other's work around the room. The magnetic graphs I am requesting will allow precision and easier analysis, as well as saving valuable class time.
More engagement leads to better understanding. That is my goal!
