My Project
My students are inventive, passionate, and eager to learn. Many come from underrepresented backgrounds, driving their desire to tell their stories through film. Their curiosity and willingness to explore different narratives make them exceptional learners. They inspire each other and push creative boundaries, making our movie club a dynamic and nurturing environment. Your support in providing this vital resource will empower them to develop skills and build confidence that will last a lifetime.

They bring diverse backgrounds and unique perspectives that enrich our film discussions and appreciation of cinema. By establishing a dedicated after-school movie club, I aim to foster a love for film while enhancing their critical thinking, creativity, and social skills.
The requested 50-inch TV will transform our movie club experience. It will provide an immersive viewing experience, allowing students to engage deeply with the films we watch. High-quality visuals and sound will enhance their understanding of cinematic techniques and storytelling. Additionally, it will serve as a platform for screenings of short films created by the students, encouraging them to express their ideas and collaborate in the filmmaking process.
Project Goals include exposing students to a variety of genres and cultures through film. Enhancing Critical Thinking through discussions about themes, cinematography, and storytelling methods. Inspire students to create their own short films and share their stories. Finally to foster a sense of belonging and teamwork within the club, allowing students to make new friendships.
