This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
In our photography class, students work hard to create meaningful images that showcase their unique perspectives. However, our school library's printing resources are often limited, and when the library runs out of printing supplies, we’re left with only small-format prints that don’t fully capture their work. A large-format printer would allow students to see their work in a professional size, highlighting the details and depth often missed on smaller prints. This hands-on experience with high-quality, larger prints not only enhances their technical skills but also builds pride in their creative work.
My goal with this project is to empower students by giving them the chance to see their ideas brought to life on a grand scale.
With larger prints, their photos can be displayed in our school and community, giving them well-deserved recognition. My students are incredibly creative, and this project would inspire them to dream big and pursue their talents confidently.
