My Students
My third graders are ambitious and have wonderful goals for the future.
My classroom is full of readers!
They read everything! And love it!
My students are the face of the United States of America. Some were born in this country to English speaking parents. Some were born in the United States to Spanish or Vietnamese speaking parents. Others were born in another country and immigrated to the United States. One thing that all of my students have in common is their zest for learning. They are so wonderful in that they don't see the differences between each other.
My Project
My third graders are fun kids who love to read.
They love reading about fun characters like Bad Kitty and Big Nate.
Many of my students don't have books at home or transportation to the public library. They get to check out two books each week at the school library. Additionally, they borrow books from the classroom library.
Third grade is a great place to ignite the reading fire and keep it burning for years to come.
And my students this year are on fire! Let's help keep that alive. New books always draw some of the most reluctant readers. Help bring some new books to our shelves.
