Big Kids Need Comfortable Seating, Too!

My Project

Replacing the broken, and relatively small, desks in my classroom will foster community and collaboration in my classes. If my high school students are comfortable and have adequate space to work, they will engage more with our material and be more willing to work with their peers.

My Title I school does not have the funds to replace the desks; my classroom is full of broken, or nearly broken, desks with attached chairs, which restricts the movement of my high school students.

The materials for this project will insure there are enough seats for all my students, as well as keep the floor scratch free when we move chairs and tables for collaboration.
