My Project
Draw bigger is my mantra! When young artists are learning to draw many are timid about their drawings. I often see many small pictures with few details. In the art room there is a bulletin board entitled "Big is Beautiful" which is a hippopotamus filled with Zentangle designs. The art hippo a reminder to my students to draw in a larger format. Drawing with the big idea in mind helps give them the space they need to include details that make their drawings unique and interesting.
Our projects are built upon beautiful backgrounds and focus drawings.
In order to provide room for my students to grow as artists, I would like to have larger 12"x18" construction paper on hand. Large paper allows children to spread their wings and create. It's perfect for collage work and painting landscapes. When the project is complete we can frame our work as well. The variety of uses we have for construction paper of this size is endless. The many colors reach every students preference and imagination. Please help me provide my students with some big and beautiful paper!
