This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our Preschool building is in need of a refrigerator. We are in an urban area and our building is older and has no air conditioning. With warmer weather ahead, this fridge will help our learners stay hydrated and able to focus. The fridge will also be used to facilitate science projects that require colder temperatures. It will also be a place where we can save extra food and keep other items fresh, accessible, and cold for students. This will help not only save extra food but
also help keep our students well-nourished and able to do their best learning in class.
Basic needs come before all other needs! If students are thirsty or hungry, they cannot perform at their best. Our school refrigerator has given out and we need your help to replace it.
