This project is fully funded
My Students
My students are very dedicated to the music program. My students love playing in their ensembles and so many more want to join. My students are engaged in class and even come during their lunch period to practice. My students love music class, and it helps them grow as an individual and helps them work together.
I love watching my students learn and grow in the classroom even if the do not all speak the same language- music brings them together.
The overall program at Career and Technical Education programs comprises twelve career and technical areas of study and a comprehensive academic program. Our students in the Career and Technical Education program participate in School-to-Career experiences including opportunities of work-based learning in the 11th and 12th grades.
The school lost 64 former students during the Vietnam War, more than any other U.S. high school. Every year the "64" are honored in a special ceremony to remember their sacrifice which includes attendance of veterans, faculty, students, community and some of the family members of the students who lost their lives.
Students learn modern band and drum line as well, and it has started to change the school culture.
My Project
This project will help all the students, no matter ability to participate positively in music class. Students will be able to use these items in their homes for activities before we go back in person. When we are back in the classroom these items are a great way to get all students involved while teaching triads and chord progressions. Big tubes mean Big fun to the students. With that Big fun come Big learning. Getting student to participate in class in a fun and inclusive way really brings our Ram Squad together.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
