Big Books for Big Readers

My students need new big books to read during our learning stations.

My Students

Do you love to read? This is a gift I want to give my students. I believe that reading open doors no matter where you are in life.

I teach first grade in an inner-city school.

Currently there are 18 students in our busy classroom. My kids come to me eager to learn. I love teaching students to read and watching them soar as the year progresses. I am very blessed that my students love books but am currently lacking some big books.

My Project

I am requesting new big books for students to partner read while in our daily learning centers. Currently the big books we are using are old and falling apart. My students get so upset when they want to read a well loved book and the pages start falling out.

Thank you for taking the time to consider my request.

I can picture the joy on their faces as new big books are unpacked and we are able to use them in our daily learning stations. They will love having new books in our busy classroom.
