Big Books Are a Big Deal in Kindergarten!

Help me give my students a new collection of big books for us to enjoy during Shared Reading!

My Students

My students are very eager to learn about the world around them! They are inquisitive thinkers, and want to know how the world works and why it works the way it does!

Our school is located in a suburban community with strong parent and community support.

We take pride in sharing a learning experience that allows students to experience the world around them in a wide variety of ways! I am proud of the learning my students do every day and helping them to advance their technology skills!

My Project

Each week during Shared Reading we dig into a new story and learn the characters, setting, problem, solution and much more! Our current collection of big books has helped many students learn to love reading, but they are very well-loved and we are in need of some new titles to replace them. I chose a diverse collection of books, including well-known titles as well as some stories that will be new to my students. Each of these books will help my students learn more about how books work and they will be able to use the books daily during our literacy time.
