This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Our school is an amazing school full of loving kids and parents who want the best for their students. We have a wide variety of students, however, half of our students do come from low-income households and receive free breakfast and lunch.

My students are full of energy and excited to learn.

I am always encouraged by my students; they do not let their hardships affect their learning. They may not have everything that they need to be ready for the day, but that doesn't stop them. Their struggles only propel them to go farther, fight harder, and try harder!

My Project

We were very fortunate to get an assortment of big books for our students to use. We are so excited to have these big books in our classroom for students to be able to follow along with as they learn to read.

We would like to purchase 30 extra large book bags, and an extra large book holder to keep these books organized, and in good shape, so they will last many years to come.

By purchasing these materials we would be able to keep the books organized, easy to find, and in easy access for our students to get to. Please help us with this small simple request.
