Bibliotherapy Library for Social Emotional Supports

Help me give my students bibliotherapy books to supplement Social Emotional Curriculum and lessons. My elementary school does not have a school counselor before this school year and I am working to build a guidance program to support students.

My Project

I am starting a counseling program at an elementary school. This is the first year that my school has had an elementary school counselor and I am so excited to build a program to support 730 K-6 students.

Social Emotional needs are high and my school, there has never been a social emotional curriculum delivered school-wide.

Bibliotherapy is an engaging form of creative arts therapy. I am working to build a library of books that support the Social Emotional Learning curriculum that I plan to implement. Books will be read to classes, groups or individual students to learn more about a specific SEL Topic.
