Beyond The Controller: Video Game Literature

My Project

These books will help enhance the classroom for the students in my game development classes. My students enjoy coming into my gaming-themed classroom and having these books will help expand their video game taste and inspire them to make their own!

The video game industry is constantly growing and our students can learn a lot from it if we incorporate it into the classroom.

A common misconception is that video games are just for entertainment. However, students can learn so much from them: critical thinking, time management, problem-solving, etc. If they're interested in learning how to make video games, then they can also learn how to code and program! My students would be grateful to have some video game literature in the classroom that they can reference.
