My Project
My students use various resources that come in different forms to target language. We are blessed to use one functioning iPad to help communicate using different programs in an individual setting; however, our classroom is lacking an instructional device that allows opportunities to create various lesson plans or visuals to help my students develop strong communication skills.
This project will allow me and my students to dive into the technology world and focus on raising awareness of different communication opportunities.
By having a brand new system in my classroom, such as a laptop, it will allow me to give access to my students to various applications using a fast, and up to date system. It will also allow me create different resources for my students, parents and other staff members, such as communication boards, social stories, interactive lessons, virtual activities, and individualized resources that target specific goals.
