This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I love that my students are always looking for inspiration. These art-centered board games and puzzles will keep their creative wheels turning throughout the school year. There are certain times when part of the class is finished with a project, and the rest of the class needs to catch up. These materials can serve as enrichment for my early finishers. They can also be used on those 'slow days' when there is a school trip and only half the class is present.
My goal is to keep the creativity 'flowing' even if students are done with their current art project.
I think this is a great way to sustain interest and motivation. My students enjoy art and I never want them to feel bored. I'm always thinking of new ways to keep them engaged. I can also use these materials during Art Club time. There are so many ways to keep students making art.
