Healthcare students are reminded that emulating healthy habits and inter personal relationships matter. Visual aids provide a platform for students and allows the curriculum and text book to come alive!!

Throughout their academic year, students spend time developing a basic healthcare mindset. Student learning is built on a foundation of knowledge, visual aids, and skills they will utilize as they move forward in the Health Career Pathway and advance their studies which they will utilize when they enter the workforce.

My Project

There are so many hidden fats and sugars in our daily diets! This project will help me provide a visual framework for students that display the hidden ingredients in foods like sugars and bad lipids/fats in the foods we consume. Your donation will directly impact and provide visual tools that will enhance the segment on Nutrition in our textbook. Visuals will help the course work come alive and can help provide insight into health and wellness modules. Most students who are following the health career pathway have a greater understanding that as a future healthcare professional they need to emulate healthy habits and lifestyle choices. Visualization improves food and drink choices if you can see exactly what you are eating and drinking in its natural visual form.
