My students need 3 Chromebooks in order to get on intervention programs that will help them in both reading and math.

My Students
This year I am teaching third graders who love to participate in Reading Centers. These centers help them practice Reading skills and strategies that will help them become better readers. They enjoy listening to stories, making sight words, going on different literary computer interventions, and reading with others as well as writing in response to literature and in different forms. However, they need resources to fully participate in the literary centers they enjoy so much and become better, successful readers.
My Project
My students do not have adequate use of technology so that they can use intervention programs that will help them become better readers and mathematicians. It is shared among other rooms and is not readily available. My students participate in centers that require the use of technology daily. They are also a PSSA testing grade and need technology to help them prepare for the big assessment. Being able to have these Chromebooks at their finger tips in the classroom would be so beneficial toward their preparation for the test as well as growth as learners. Most of the intervention programs require consistent use in order to see results. The Chromebooks would help make this happen.
