My Students
It has been very challenging for most of my kindergartners to learn remotely. Many of them are using technology that is out of date or shared with more than one sibling. I am fighting for them to succeed though and will do all I can to make it work!
Remote learning has caused a huge divide depending on the families situations.
I want to make sure all my students have the same opportunities to achieve grade level standards.
My Project
I am asking for a Summer K-1 Activities book and sight word books to reinforce and help my students retain the wealth of knowledge that was taught in school. Although I am remotely teaching many of my students are not able to complete the Google Classroom assignments. I work in an area where many of the parents are working outside the house and students do not have the proper technology. Having workbooks for the students would be a huge assistance to all the families. It is one more way I can make sure the students I care and miss so much have access to learning.
