My Students
I teach fourth grade at an Elementary School. During this pandemic, we have been coming to school every day. At this time, we are not doing any virtual learning or a hybrid schedule. This is my second year as a certified teacher, however I know a majority of these students.
The students I have are visual/hands-on learners.
My students come from a very rural area. Most of the time they come to school with limited supplies. My students are very bright individuals who are eager to learn new and exciting things.
My Project
My students come in each morning, do their bellwork, and then get on the computer and do their I-ready work. A lot of the work my students do on the computer require the students to have their own pair of earphones. My students are missing a lot of important instructions because they are not able to turn the volume up very loud. The earphones would allow my students to hear all of the instructions in order to do the assignment. I feel like the earphones will help them excel in places that they have not been doing so well.
