it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Teaching in a post-pandemic era has brought about some unique challenges for my second grade students. This second grade cohort has some uniquely challenging behaviors to work with. They were three or four years old when the Covid-19 pandemic struck us. So, this cohort didn’t get early socialization before kindergarten. So, opting for more flexible seating options in my classroom would really promote more learning. The tables and soft pillows would really help them to work in small table groups. We also need flexibility in the room to move around for stations and centers.
