This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students belong to kinder, first and second grade. They are really trying to learn skills like short and long vowel sounds, differences between digraphs and blends and vowel teams.
The books I have chosen for my classroom will give an opportunity to my students to use their skills while reading stories written specially for their age group.
I am so excited to be able to plant the "book reading seed" to my students at this early age, hopefully they will continue reading and learning for many years to come.
