My Students
I work at the best elementary school where all our students are on the road to success. My students are part of a Title I school in a big city. We have a very diverse population with students from over 92 countries and many students are English Language Learners.
Walk into my room and you will see the best group of students.
My classroom is a self-contained special education class. We have students with a variety of needs in both educational and life skills. Each student is unique and brings me joy when I see him or her succeed.
My Project
Last year I started using The Secret Stories to support my students with reading and writing. We have the kit, flashcards, and videos.
Now we need to add more resources to continue reading our goal of BETTER READERS and WRITERS!
I am asking for a gift card to Teachers Pay Teachers to get our hands on some awesome Secret Stories materials that will continue to help my students, current and future, become the best they can be with reading and writing.
The products we are wanting include stickers of the skills that we can use to reinforce how when letters get together they sometimes make a different sound as well as the ABC posters that go along with the songs from The Secret Stories.
