This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My classroom is made up of 18 amazing learners. They come to class ready to learn despite their obstacles before stepping foot in the classroom.
We are a Title I school, and almost all of my students are English language learners.
My students love coming to school because I make learning fun. My students work hard every day. Unfortunately, they need supplies and experiences that I can’t provide on my own. This includes headphones for each student.
My Project
This year each student has their very own laptop to use at home and school. Students use their laptops during reading and math centers to complete their assigned lessons. They also get to play educational games and listen to stories during centers.
Unfortunately, the headphones that they currently have are getting all tangled up.
Some are even falling apart!
I'm requesting better headphones that are easier for young learners!
I'm also requesting Henry and Mudge books. My students love reading these beginning chapter books!
