This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are eager to learn and grow, and make a change in their community and ultimately the world. Most are learning English as a second language and the impact of reading and learning new words is significant. I have many books that I would like to organize for them. I am in an ICT classroom and so organization (but not over stimulation) is necessary. Bookcases that are uniform in size and the same color will help create the calming environment that I am seeking. Currently some of my bookcases are mismatched, dirty, and somewhat damaged.
