Betas Serving the Community

Help me give my students an opportunity to serve our community by creating birthday kits for our local family resource center.

My Project

I am a new Sr. Beta Club sponsor this year, and I am looking forward to introducing my students to community service.

Some families in our community are unable to afford birthday celebrations for their children--and we believe everyone deserves a happy birthday.

We are hoping to provide our local family resource center with twelve birthday kits--with the ingredients to make a birthday cake, candles, and a birthday banner. Did you know that one cake mix plus one can of soda makes a yummy birthday cake? We will include all the supplies necessary for a fun birthday in our birthday kits. Senior Beta Club members will complete this small act of kindness and recognize that some of our community members need just a small act of kindness to help their family.

Senior Beta Club members will complete this community service activity during a club meeting day, and we will deliver them to our local Family Resource Center for community members to access them.
