it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This year marks my 6th year in education, and I’m aiming to make it my best year yet. Last year, I started fresh at a new school—out of my comfort zone, but not out of my purpose.
Despite the challenges, 98% of my students showed growth on their state assessments, and as a class, they improved by 25% from the previous year—leading both our school and district in growth!
These wins don’t happen without the essentials that make a classroom feel like home—where kids can feel safe, seen, and excited to learn. Over the years, social media and generous hearts like yours have helped me keep my classroom stocked with the tools and materials that make learning more engaging and accessible.
