Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

During COVID we had so many students struggle when they came back to school. We are hoping to strengthen our experiences by being able to learn hands-on!

My class has minimal art, science, and reading materials for each student.

With your help, we will be able to have the science glasses and pipettes for each student to be hands-on learning about the world around them, not needing to wait to share materials or go without the experience. The Sight word bingo games will help us be stronger readers in every situation and have fun while learning. Various book sets will help us put our reading to good use and have something for each student to connect to, whether it is Pete the cat or the pigeon who wanted to drive. Watercolors, pastels, and Play-Doh will help us be able to do multiple art, science, and social study projects. My school is a Title I school, meaning our families do not have funds to pay for the materials on this list. Any gift is received as a HUGE blessing. Thank you for considering encouraging my class by giving these unique experiences to my excellent students!
