Being a Mentor by Reading

Help me give my students the opportunity to be mentors to the elementary students as well as meeting high school standards.

My Project

The novels, create-your-own books and markers will give a chance for collaboration with high school and elementary school students. They will be creating storybooks and graphic novels on their feelings. This will give high school students access to graphic novels to see how they are written as well as materials that are based on their curriculum.

Wellness and Reading will go hand and hand with high school students mentoring elementary students as they create a storybook or graphic novel.

This will also be creating an atmosphere of community between the elementary school and the high school.
