My class of kindergarteners is a bright and inquisitive group of children. They love to learn. They also can get very excited. My classroom needs behavior incentives to help me keep them on track. The Desk Pets that I am requesting are adorable animal friends that I will use as an incentive or to reward good behavior.
In addition to the Desk Pets I am also requesting prizes to supplement my Prize Box.
The students work very hard to be able to choose a prize from the Prize Box. These little trinkets let them know that their good behavior is appreciated and recognized. These positive incentives will help to make the learning environment a productive and positive place.
Each year I provide nameplates for each child's spot at their table. Their first and last name goes on the nameplate. Included on the nameplates are letters and numbers for them to refer to as they work. The nameplate sleeves help to keep the nameplates in place and clean. I am requesting new nameplates and nameplate sleeves to supplement the ones I already have.
I have included scented markers and Sharpie markers in this project. Both are an important tool in any classroom supply bucket. My students love to get a star or happy face written on their paper with a "smelly marker". They love to guess the scent!
