My Students
"A fresh start and a new beginning". As we begin a new school year, I want to begin the school year on an organized and positive tone. My students are curious learners, organized, and display a positive attitude in all that they do.
We are a small neighborhood school in a big district that relies on our community support to get things done.
As a teacher, I am fortunate to have parents who are able to volunteer and support our classroom on a daily basis. My students are eager and energetic learners. Our class is far from your quiet teacher-led classroom. Two of the ways our classroom functions is through the use of structure and positive interactions.
My Project
The goal of this project is to provide structure and positive interactions within our classroom. The acrylic straw dispenser and portable speakers will be used to aid in the structure of our classroom. The portable speakers I'm requested for this project will provide structure to our classroom by enabling my students to have audio access to academic videos and the acrylic straw dispenser will be used as storage for pencils that will be used as incentives for students as they demonstrate desired behaviors. The laminating pouches, canvases, and buttons will be used to foster connections with others. The laminating pouches, canvases, and buttons requested for this project will also help to foster positive interactions as students create projects in cooperative groups to share with their families.
