Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
As a Title 1 school, many of my students lack access to basic classroom supplies. Providing these essential materials will help ensure they can fully participate in daily lessons without feeling left out or disadvantaged. The Mead Spiral Notebooks and Loose Leaf Paper will give students consistent tools for note-taking, writing practice, and completing assignments—essential for building their literacy and organizational skills. The Crayola Markers and Crayons will allow students to express creativity during art projects and make learning more engaging, especially for visual learners. The Lakeshore Dry Erase Markers and Magnetic Erasers will be used with personal whiteboards for interactive lessons, encouraging participation, practicing math problems, and reinforcing language skills through quick-response activities. The Elmer’s Glue Sticks will be used for hands-on projects, anchor charts, and journals—supporting fine motor development and making learning tactile and fun. These resources will empower my students to learn confidently, collaborate, and take pride in their work.
