This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Many of my students come to school eager to learn, and their families do all they can to support them. However, classroom needs can add up quickly. This project will help provide beginning-of-the-year supplies and a few much-needed extras to support focus, hygiene, and organization. Items include hand sanitizer, lice spray, fidgets, sensory tools, and organizational supplies. One of the most important needs is a set of durable headphones—many of ours frequently break, making it hard for students to engage in digital learning. With your help, my students will have a strong, supported start to the school year and the tools they need to thrive.
