This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My third-grade scholars are absolutely wonderful! They are thoughtful and very hardworking. They all have wonderful and unique personalities. All of my students love coming to school every day. Our classroom has become a safe haven for some of my students. They are eager to learn and always have tons of questions.
Each of my students comes to class wanting to learn academically, creatively, and social-emotionally.
My students are creative and brave thinkers who aren't afraid to think outside the box or explore new things. They enjoy working collaboratively and can't get enough of hands-on activities. They love sharing their stories whether it's about their weekend or just their day.
My Project
With social distancing being a necessity in the classroom, I want to continue using flexible seating as a fun way for my scholars to sit and learn during the school day. These fun flexible seats also work as a small desk. I also want to make sure my scholars' hands are clean throughout the day in between washes.
All of my scholars want a safe, loving, and comfortable learning space.
Tissues are also a huge necessity. These materials are nearly impossible to find. I want to provide all the needed materials for scholars when they come into the classroom.
