Beginning of the Year Materials

My students need a pencil sharpener, dry erase markers, materials to build math fact rings, paper and glue sticks.

My Students

I believe in providing my students with a very organized and structured environment. I want them to have the best available options to be successful. When they come to school, I want them to feel safe and secure in an environment that is conducive to learning. Some of my students plan on coming to school daily for that safe and caring feeling that they know everything will be all right. They know that school is a place of learning in a safe environment.

My Project

In order to start the school year off right, my students will need some materials and items to help them to be successful. Within the first week of school, my students and I build math fact rings to help them learn their multiplication and division math facts. This is why I have requested the card-stock and the book rings. I am also requesting a pencil sharpener, paper, glue sticks and markers to begin the year. We will begin using these items as of week one within the classroom. These are necessities that we use on a daily or weekly basis. Thank you for all your help and support.
