My Students
My students are making a choice to pursue an education in a trade. This, to me, sets them apart because they are making an effort to prepare themselves for a workplace ripe with technology and in dire need of skilled employees.
These students display the initiative, the drive and the willingness to push themselves to meet the needs of tomorrow's industry.
I want to provide them the best equipment possible to make learning something they can focus on, not struggling to make antiquated worn out equipment work.
My Project
Drafting, as a profession, requires the ability to visualize, as well as communicate ideas with the use of drawings and sketches. I intend to instruct the students in the same way I was taught over 30 years ago in the same classroom I learned in.
These tables will allow the students to learn the trade fundamentals the way they were taught to thousands of students for generations.
I intend to instill the gift of visualization that will allow them to have a long and fruitful career in the design/engineering field.
