Help me give my students recorders for music class and inspire them to become great musicians.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
We are the explorers, fifth graders from a Title One school in San Diego, CA. My students had the opportunity to be exposed to some musical instruments this year and they were very excited to play the recorder for a couple of weeks. They want to continue learning. I play the recorder myself and want to teach them.
Unfortunately, our budget is very limited and we do not have the money to buy recorders for our students.
Music is so important and inspires creativity. Plus, playing a musical instrument and learning to read music will develop the areas of the brain related to language and reasoning.
My Project
What a great instrument to learn for a young child! All my students want to play the recorder. They all fell in love with this instrument, and they are looking forward to practicing more.
They will learn how to read music, develop their musicality and sense of musicianship.
Plus, they will develop the necessary coordination with their fingers, tongue, and breathing. Playing the recorder will give them the foundation and discipline to move on to the flute in the future.
We are also excited as we are planning to have a performance at the end of school year for parents, family, and friends. Schools need more music and more musicians!
