This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are at an inclusive campus where we work with general education and special education together. Although we are a Title I school, we are always working together to provide wide variety of learning experiences.

The students are very curious, kind, helpful and eager to learn.

They enjoy exploring and being able to be hands on while they are learning. I am always so excited see how much each one of our students grows throughout the year.

My Project

Learning through play is critical for young children. These materials will help enhance our students' imaginations, creativity, and their social emotional skills. Our students will grow in so many areas as they pretend play with one another and work together to make common goals within their play.

The cars, picnic tent, and the umbrella table will all set the foundation for some great interactions, relationships, and expanding their knowledge on items around them.

Each student that comes into this play area will get the opportunity to explore with hands on items for some big fun learning.
